Karen has been part of the Co-operators family for 23 years, working as an Insurance Advisor. She specializes in business property and farm insurance and takes great pride in providing the kind of customer service that makes clients feel supported and cared for. With strong roots in the farming community. Karen grew up spending summers on her grandparents’ century farm, helping with chores and learning firsthand the values of hard work and resilience. That connection to agriculture continues to inspire her dedication to support farm families and businesses today.

Outside of work, Karen is passionate about giving back to the community. She volunteers with a local autism group, a cause that is especially close to her heart as a mom to a son with autism. When she’s not working or volunteering, you’ll often find her at the rink playing or watching hockey or behind a camera capturing landscapes through photography.

Kate Cochrane is a Commercial Specialist with over 10 years of experience at Co-operators, where she is dedicated to helping business owners protect what they’ve worked hard to build. With a strong understanding of business insurance solutions, Kate works closely with her clients to ensure they have the proper coverage in place—supporting not only their businesses, but the livelihoods those businesses provide for their families and communities. Known for her approachable style and commitment to personalized service, Kate takes pride in building long-term relationships grounded in trust, transparency and care. Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time outdoors camping, boating and fishing. She is a proud supporter of her teens’ many sports activities and values making memories alongside her husband of 20 years.
