Brody Nelson is an Associate Financial Advisor. Brody started his career with Co-operators in 2012. Previously, Brody worked in the banking industry, putting his business degree from Walla Walla University to good use as a banking lender, training consultant and branch manager.

Brody works primarily as a life, wealth and disability advisor, as well as specializing in home and farm insurance. “What I enjoy most about my position with Co-operators is informing my clients about the coverage they will have, as well as creating a comprehensive plan that will create success for the entire family.”

Carolyn Sydenham

Carolyn began working at Advantage Insurance Group (2006) Inc in 2017 and started with auto and travel insurance. She went on to get her Level 2 General Insurance Licence in 2022 and now specializes in home insurance. Carolyn is always happy to help clients understand their coverage and make sure they are insured in all areas necessary.

Chris is an Associate Financial Advisor who began working for Co-operators in Lacombe in 2004. He specializes in farm, life and disability insurance. Chris enjoys interacting with our farm clients and finding solutions for their insurance needs. Chris graduated from The King’s University in Edmonton with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2003. Chris’s recreational activities include camping, fishing, fantasy football, and watching the never-ending Oilers rebuild.

Jordan Schnoor has a BComm and has been working with Co-operators since 2009. Jordan successfully worked his way through various roles and managed a Co-operators agency in Vancouver from 2012 to 2015, when he and his wife made the decision to move to central Alberta to join his father, Warren, and the team at Advantage Insurance Group (2006) Inc in Lacombe.

Associate Insurance Advisor

Justin graduated from Red Deer College’s Donald School of Business with a Financial Services Diploma and started his career with Co-operators as an Associate Insurance Advisor in January 2021. His recreational activities include bodybuilding, playing and watching hockey, and hiking.

Karen Stingel

Associate Insurance Advisor

Karen Stingel is an Associate Insurance Advisor who began her career with Co-operators in 2004. Since that time, she has obtained her Level II Insurance Licence and her Certified Insurance Professional (CIP) designation in 2013. She has expanded her role from specializing in auto and home insurance to include business insurance. As per expectations of her current role in the insurance industry, she is always on a quest for education and knowledge. "What keeps me interested in business insurance is that not one business is exactly the same as another. There is such diversity in commercial operations that it's a very interesting position to be in."

Nina Robertson

Associate Insurance Advisor

Nina is an Associate Insurance Advisor who began her career with Co-operators in 2020 as receptionist. She has since obtained her Level 1 General Insurance Licence and is now working in the auto department. Originally from the east coast, Nina moved to Alberta in 2000 and has enjoyed living here ever since. She enjoys reading, watching movies and spending time with her family.

Shea recently obtained her General Insurance level 1 certification, and she is excited to start her insurance career with Cooperators in Lacombe. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, spending time with her dog and trying new cuisines.

Shelly started with Co-operators as a client and began her career representing Co-operators with the agency in Lacombe in February of 2009. She went on to achieve her Level 2 General Insurance Licence in June of 2009 and specializes in auto, travel and home Insurance. She is constantly expanding her knowledge of insurance products through training courses and continuing studies. She enjoys helping clients, providing them with great service, and can always be found with a cup of coffee in her hands.
