Nobody knows better than Isabel how quickly life can change. At 26, she and her family were in a devastating car accident that claimed the life of her young son, David, and left her, her young daughter, and her husband with serious injuries. That moment shaped her life’s purpose; to help others be as financially prepared as possible for life’s unexpected turns.

Today, Isabel leads the Delaney Financial Inc. team with a contagious energy and warmth that makes the office feel more like a family than a workplace. She takes pride in helping clients plan for life’s milestones, from buying their first home to saving for a dream retirement, while ensuring they’re protected if tragedy strikes.

A squeeze-every-last-drop-out-of-life kind of person, Isabel is always on the move traveling, spending time with friends, or pushing herself with new experiences that take her outside her comfort zone. Her world revolves around her sweet grandson, her close-knit circle of family and friends and her personality-packed sidekick, Angus - who seems to believe he’s human. Whether it’s a beach walk at the cottage or a top-down drive with Angus, Isabel reminds us all to take time to soak in every moment.

With a strong background in customer service, Brett is passionate about helping people feel comfortable, heard and supported. He brings patience, a positive attitude and a genuine care for clients into every interaction, making sure they feel looked after and understood. At Delaney Financial Inc, Brett is focused on building strong relationships and ensuring clients know their best interests are always top of mind.

A lifelong music and movie enthusiast, Brett’s claim to fame includes finding himself front row at a Metallica concert; an experience captured on the band’s Quebec Magnetic DVD. When he’s not at work, he’s spending time with his wife and young son, traveling, going to concerts and enjoying family life. Known in the office for his sense of humor (and confident claim to being the funniest person there), Brett also brings kindness, curiosity and genuine interest in others to every interaction.

Colleen McCourt

Associate Financial Advisor

Colleen has been with Delaney Financial Inc. since 2015, helping clients navigate all lines of insurance and financial planning. She’s passionate about making sure people truly understand their policies, believing that informed clients are empowered clients. Friendly, thoughtful and highly knowledgeable, she’s often the first welcoming face people see when they visit the office.

Colleen’s interest in insurance started young, inspired by her best friend’s mother, who worked for Co-operators. That early impression of professionalism and compassion stuck with her.

Around the office, Colleen is known for bringing the team together. She’s the organizer and cheerleader, always keeping things moving smoothly while making sure clients are at the center of every decision. Outside of work, she’s most often found at her kids’ sports games (“the loud mom in the stands!” she jokes) or spending time with her partner and their family.

With more than eight years of insurance experience, Geeta brings a calm, steady presence to every client interaction. Specializing in auto and business coverage, she takes the time to walk clients through their options so they can make informed decisions with peace of mind.

What makes Geeta stand out, is her personality. She’s genuine and full of positive energy; always giving off the kind of good vibes that make people feel instantly at ease. Clients often tell us how much they enjoy working with her, whether it’s her great sense of humor, her warm smile, or the genuine care she brings to every conversation. Around the office, she’s known not only as a trusted resource but also as someone who keeps spirits high bringing plenty of laughter to the team.

Fluent in four languages, Geeta is a lifelong learner who enjoys crafting, cooking and watching movies with her husband and their children.

Jim Chandler

Associate Insurance Advisor

With a career in sales that spans decades, Jim has been helping Delaney Financial Inc. clients protect their homes and property since 2005. Specializing in home insurance, he guides clients through the details, so they feel confident their coverage is the right fit. His goal is always to ensure people are protected if the unexpected happens.

Jim is an active figure in PEI’s sports community, chairing the Referee Development Committee for PEI Soccer Association and coordinating off-ice officials for UPEI’s hockey teams and the Charlottetown Islanders. A lifelong fan of metal and rock, he’s also known as the office’s resident Ozzy Osbourne superfan. Outside of work, Jim enjoys doting on his granddaughters alongside his wife.

His guiding principle? “Do it right or don’t do it at all.”

Ryan helps clients navigate the complexities of financial decision-making, guiding them toward strategies that protect their families and help them achieve their goals. Ryan’s known for breaking down complex decisions into simple, empowering conversations.

Since joining the industry in 2021, Ryan has had moments that deeply reinforced his commitment, from delivering benefits to families who depended on them, to securing coverage that gives clients confidence for the years ahead. These experiences remind him daily of the life-changing impact of this work.

A high-level soccer referee for over 20 years, Ryan has officiated at 13 national championships and two international friendlies. He’s known to his colleagues for his sharp style, high energy, quick follow-up with clients and a laugh that fills the room. At home, he enjoys time with his wife and their three children.

Tom Neveu

With two decades in the insurance industry, Tom has built his career on protecting what matters most to people, from family farms to thriving local businesses. His start came at his father-in-law’s Ontario branch of Co-operators. When he and his wife moved to PEI in 2016, he brought his expertise to Delaney Financial Inc.

It’s easy to see how Tom has been recognized as a top business producer more than once in the district. He works hard to ensure his clients have the right coverage for their unique needs ensuring they feel protected and supported.

Known in the office for his dry wit, healthy snack stash and ability to reach the top shelves with great confidence and ease.

When not at work, Tom also has a creative side; he forges knives in his spare time, he also enjoys tinkering in the garage, tending his vegetable garden and spending time with his wife and their 100-pound Boxer - who insists he’s a lap dog.
