Nobody knows better than Isabel how life can change in an instant. At 26 years old, Isabel, along with her husband and daughter, were critically injured in a car accident that tragically resulted in the loss of her son, David.

The kindness shown to Isabel and her family by their community made Isabel realize that she could truly make a difference in the lives of others. Isabel now leads a team of seven and enjoys creating a warm and welcoming environment where everyone is happy to go to work each day. The most rewarding part of Isabel's job is when she can provide relief for her clients during the most difficult time of their lives. Having so much experience navigating through hardships or losing those we love gives her a great appreciation for how important it is to give our clients the best advice to help them protect their family and business.

When Isabel is not at the office, she's sharing belly laughs with friends, snuggling with her adorable dog, Angus, or relaxing with her family at their modest little cottage by the sea, which is lovingly called “Dave's Place.”

Colleen McCourt

Insurance has always interested Colleen. Growing up, her best friend's mom worked for Co-operators and she always admired her professionalism and ability to help people when they needed it. Now, Colleen has that same opportunity to help people.

Prior to joining Delaney Financial Inc. in 2015, Colleen worked in the financial industry, as well as in a customer service role in the health and wellness field.

Colleen is the smiling face that greets you when you come into our office. In addition to assisting Isabel, Colleen works with our clients to provide all lines of insurance and financial advice. If she's not the person to help you with what you need, she'll connect you with the right associate for your account.

Colleen enjoys interacting with and educating her clients, but in her spare time away from the office, you'll find her enjoying time with her family.

Geeta Patni

Associate Insurance Advisor

Geeta came to us from Ontario and joined our office in August 2022. Geeta specializes in auto and business insurance and loves working with clients, reviewing their policies, making sure they know exactly what coverage they’re carrying, and explaining why they need it.

Geeta has been helping us get our clients set up for Online Services while reviewing and updating their policies. It’s much more efficient for our clients when they’re signed up for Online Services.

Geeta has worked in insurance for eight years and comes to us with lots of experience. We are so grateful to have her on our team; her knowledge and expertise in multiple lines, including life, business and home insurance have certainly helped all of us in the agency.

We are glad that Geeta and her husband, Deepen, and their children have decided to make PEI their new home.

Jim Chandler

Associate Insurance Advisor

Jim has always enjoyed helping people meet their needs and has done so in a professional role his entire adult life. Jim started his career in sales and joined Co-operators in 2005.

Jim specializes in home insurance and enjoys finding solutions to help protect what matters most. He takes time to educate his clients about the potential risks of owning a home and asks himself what he would do in his clients' situation to be best protected.

When he's not at work, Jim is likely supporting Charlottetown's sport community as an organizer, volunteer or spectator, or doting on his granddaughters, along with his wife, Kathy.

Mohammed Abuzaina

Associate Insurance Advisor

Mohammed joined our team in February 2023 and we have enjoyed watching him excel at every learning opportunity he's encountered. He graduated UPEI in 2022 with his degree in business administration. To say he is a fast learner would be an understatement. Since joining our team, he has completed the general licensing exam and excelled in all his auto and home training.

He is the friendly face you will sometimes see at the front desk when you come in to make your payments, and he will be able to help you with all your auto and home service needs. We all feel like we have worked with him for years because he fits into our office culture so well. We are thrilled that Mohammed decided to make PEI home after graduating. He is originally from Egypt and speaks both Arabic and English fluently.

When Mohammed is not hard at work, he enjoys video games, hanging out with his friends, and spending time at the beach in summer.

Ryan Owens

Ryan has made a career of helping people find solutions to problems. Throughout his career, he has always made it a point first to understand his clients’ needs and wants, then recommend appropriate solutions to meet them.

Ryan joins Delaney Financial Inc. having worked in the life and wealth industry since 2021. He takes as his inspiration his own children who are his whole life.

Ryan loves to help his clients as they navigate the different seasons of life, all the while ensuring that their loved ones are protected against the risk of tragedy. Ryan takes a client-centred approach to insurance and believes that everyone has unique circumstances, which require significant consideration and a thoughtful, tailored solution.

When he’s not protecting families, you can find Ryan at the soccer field where he has spent the last 17 years overseeing matches as a referee, or trying different restaurants around Charlottetown with his wife of six years, Justine.

Tom Neveu

Tom first joined Co-operators at his father-in-law's rural Ontario branch, where he worked as a business and farm representative for more than 10 years. In 2016 Tom and his wife, Chrissy, made the move to Charlottetown, PEI where they had always dreamed of living.

Tom and Chrissy moved their lives to New Argyle, and he started working at Delaney Financial Inc. It’s easy to see how Tom has been recognized as top commercial producer more than once in the district. Tom considers it his business to know the businesses and farms of his clients and works hard to ensure they have adequate coverage in place to protect all their valuable assets.

In his downtime, Tom and his wife enjoy an active social life, which revolves mostly around the busy athletic schedules of their two children.
