Paul joined The Co-operators in May 1988 as a Financial Advisor in Scarborough after working 10 years for Bell Canada in Toronto. He has been in both sales and sales management during his career. Paul holds life and general insurance licences, and also has Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations. Paul is a two-year term past president of The Canadian Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors-Bay of Quinte Chapter, now known as ADVOCIS. As well as sitting on numerous boards including United Way of Quinte, CNIB and Royal Canadian Sea Cadets, he was until recently the president of Belleville District Girls Minor Hockey Association, where he has coached and volunteered for many years. Paul is married and has two children. He enjoys playing golf with friends.
