I am a Chartered Insurance Professional with the Insurance Institute of Canada (1991), a Chartered Life Underwriter and Certified Health Insurance Specialist with Advocis, the Financial Advisors Association of Canada, as well as a Certified Financial Planner.

I moved to Airdrie in 2000 with my family after growing up in Calgary. After staying at home for 12 years to raise my four children, I joined the team part-time in 2010. My first role was our Client Contact Representative. As customer service is a priority for me, I wanted to be able to help out more with our clients. I'm now a full-time Associate Insurance Advisor, helping our clients with their auto, home, farm, business, special events and travel insurance needs.

Hobbies

When I'm not working, you can find me at sports venues watching my children play the games they love. I also enjoy painting, baking custom cakes and home design. What I love most about my job is the interaction with our clients and helping them understand their policies.

Outside of the office, I'm an amateur photographer, artist and avid horse enthusiast. I've ridden horses most of my life and recently discovered a love of riding motorcycles, as well.

I have a special place in my heart for rescued animals and have fostered several dogs and cats over the years through the Calgary- and Edmonton-based rescue.

Outside of the office, my favourite thing to do in my spare time is read. I feel that every genre has amazing books, but I most enjoy fantasy and horror.

Currently specializing in life insurance and investments, I also assist with business, farm, home and auto insurance.

I relocated to Airdrie from Calgary with my wife in March 2015 and we both enjoy the intimate, small-town feel.
